After flying for close to 1000 hours bethind his P-mag ignition, this customer’s’ EICommander started to indicate a Timing Divergance greater than 2.0 degrees. The divergence started to increase over multiple flights which lead the pilot to remove and inspect the P-mags. Upon inspection, he found a bad bearing.
